Ferrari FF: Interior, Luggage Compartment and sporty cockpit

The Ferrari FF has the roomiest passenger compartment in its class: it comfortably accommodates four persons, offering occupants unparalleled flexibility in terms of space, generous equipment and elegant trim for a quality onboard life never seen before in a such high performance car. The front seats can accommodate occupants up to the 99.5th percentile stature (1.95 meters) whether the rear seats can accommodate occupants up to 95th percentile stature (1.85 meters).

Luggage Compartment
With 450 liters, the FF has the best luggage compartment capacity in its class. The luggage compartment is extremely flexible: the ski hatch makes possible to transport long objects such as a ski bag or a tournament golf bag, while the independently folding backrests rear seats allow luggage capacity to be increased to cater for different need up to a maximum of 800 liters. As a result, the vehicle may be used by four occupants for a long week end, or by two occupants for a long trip or to enjoy their preferred leisure activities.

Sporty Cockpit
The new sporty cockpit rewards the driver with a unique on board experience. To maximize vehicle control, all the main functionalities are located on the steering wheel together with the 5-setting Manettino GT and are also backlit for easy visibility and use even at night. The new F1 gearbox shift paddles are larger and closer for improved ergonomics. The FF also has a new instrument panel with a large central rev counter flanked by two TFT screens including the new functions such as VDA (Vehicle Dynamic Assistant). The F1 gearbox shift paddles are closer to the steering wheel and are longer, to make them easy to use even with the steering wheel turned. The following functions are visible on the steering wheel: turn indicators, high beam/flash, windscreen wiper control, suspension button, engine start button, Manettino. The controls of the new infotainment are located at the rear of the steering wheel spokes.

The instrument panel has been conceived to provide the driver with information from the vehicle’s main on-board systems. The panel consists of large central rev counter in traditional Ferrari style, and two 5” high resolution TFT displays, which can display information concerning vehicle status (left hand TFT), navigation information or images from the front or rear parking cameras (right hand TFT).
