Today with the emergence of wind power and the growing popularity there have been a number a upstart companies popping up all over the web all claiming to have the best wind generator and to be able to eliminate your power bill if you just buy their product. Another trend has been to knock the other guy’s products even when the one the advertiser is selling is inferior to the product they are knocking. It has been by approach to focus on myself and let a superior product sell itself. I have however had enough of the boyhood tactics and am going to take the gloves off. Personally I am sick of hearing guy whine about everyone else’s product and how they are the knight in shining armor here to save the consumer. The reality is most of them are there just to do one thing and that is to sell a product seemingly at any cost.

First I would like to address the “Windy Nation”. Here is a company that started selling DC motors from surplus center that would not work as wind generators sometimes at a 500 percent or higher mark up. They have more recently been noted for their “cheap” TLG knock off blades which when tested simply were not of the same quality and are poorly balanced. They have imported a poor quality generator from China that has overrated power ratings exclaiming the slogan “Clean power to the people? What people I ask? the Chinese. This is modeled after TLG wind power who in my opinion portrait and all American Image with their website showing a wind farm complete from the Wisconsin Midwest. Many fail to realize they are selling a 300$ Ginlong generator from China for 650 $. Enough is enough….according to Hugh Piggott one of the worlds foremost authorities on wind power, aluminum is not a good material to build blades out of and cracks
On to Wind Blue…..I think we have covered the aluminum blades, that paired with an under performing alternator with used parts and there you have a company the exclaims”The best wind generator parts and PMA Permanent Magnet Alternators on the web”.Our budget PMA outperforms their low wind model so that slogan must be “puffery”. You know the term the pizza guys used explaining that in advertising it is ok to make an exaggerated statements based on opinion rather than fact. Missouri Wind and Solar…..got to love when a guy makes a video claiming they have the fastest blades when they superimpose over the video there is a tornado down the street 80 mph winds. Personally, I think this is the only way that unit would make any power. Not to say there was not tornado down the street but if there was shooting the wind generator in the midst of that one there is dedication…..12 blades are not fast guys do the research this is a wind 101 no brainer but then again I guess you would have to be fast when you advertise your power band up to 10000 RPM……come one guys wind turbine don’t spin at 10000 rpm. They do report they are getting a new alternator and at least Jeff is a good guy unlike some of the other folk I have spoke on. Southwest wind power really doesn’t deserve mentioning…..it weights 17 lbs. Air x Breeze, 404 whatever your call it; its Junk……our alternator outweighs the whole unit. We used to be a Southwest dealer but become frustrated with the anemic output and poor customer service. Like it or not these are the facts.
